Looking to hire a Carpenter for an interior Commercial Tenant Improvement Project in Vancouver!

Description :

Our client is currently looking for a Skilled Carpenter to start as early as Monday for a Commercial T.I. site in Vancouver.

Our preference is carpenters with experience in reading blueprints.

On a day to day this person will meet with the superintendent to identify where they are focusing for the day. They will be working on a commercial renovation (Tenant Improvement) of an existing building.

This person will be doing rough general carpentry such as removing windows, installing backing for cabinetry and TV’s, demo work and labour work.

All carpenters must have a carpenters belt with

  • Hammer
  • Tape measure
  • Squares and levels
  • Utility knife
  • Other related and necessary tools

Qualifications :

  • Ability to get to all sites (car)
  • 2+ years of experience in construction as a carpenter
  • Posses their own tools and tool belt + PPE
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Work Environment

The sites are busy – communication and safety is a number 1 priority. They are working on a commercial construction site, most sites have 5+ employees + sub trades.

Hours – start 7 / 7 : 30am, work 8 hours a day 15 minute break at 10, 30 minute lunch break wrap up 3 : 15pm / 3.45. Potential for OT.
